First trip to the library
On Sunday afternoon, Jon, the twins, and I walked to the library in downtown Evanston to check out some children's music. on our way, we stopped at Jamba Juice, where our Izzie and Elijah got to try their first smoothie (which they loved!).
They had a great time at the library, though they didn't quite "get" the quiet part. There was a section in the children's library that had toys, and the twins were totally content playing there while I sought out the music. We checked out 6 different cd's (3 playtime and 3 lullaby) with music from around the world.
After the library, we walked to the lakefront, and played in the grass for a while before heading home.
Isabel is standing really well now, but only when she wants to. Elijah remains on his own timeline. He's sitting up on his knees much more often, but still whines when we try to encourage him to stand up by himself.

they are getting cuter! They look like so much fun. That was brave taking two todds to the library.
Wow, they've been doing some growing, eh? Elijah, you are not going to like it if your sister walks too long before you! Better get on it. June 23rd is coming quick.
Love the photos and stories. Thanks for sharing.
:) blondie
I like how Elijah in the last picture is trying to figure out the whole contraption thing.. be careful he is probably planning a way to get out of it.
Elijah is definitely an engineer. He loves trying to figure things out, and his fine motor skills are out of control.
He knows how to close the babyjail all by himself (he can't quite get it completely locked, but I'm sure that's not too far off...)
Soooo cute!!
