first post placement visit and a trip to the park

On Friday we had our first post placement visit with our social worker from the local homestudy agency. It went very well, and she was very impressed by how calm, happy, and tuned in to us they seemed. We absolutely attribute these things to the care that they recieved while they were in Ethiopia. these children know love, and that makes it infinitely easier for them to love others.

The weather on Sunday was gorgeous, so we decided to take the kids to one of the local parks. It is SOOOO much easier to get two kids and a dog down the stairs when you have another person helping you!

Elijah absolutely loved the swing, giggling and clapping his hands the entire time he was in it! Isabel wasn't so sure what she thought of the whole experience. She didn't cry, and looked like she was trying to have fun, but got a panicked look on her face when the swing moved unexpectedly.

I'm so excited that spring is coming. I'm planning tons of fun excursions with the kids. I can't wait!
