I wanted to give everyone notice that I am planning to take an extended hiatus from updating this blog. I'm strongly considering making the blog private, but for the time being, I've simply decided not to post updates.

In January of 2006, my husband and I decided to move forward with the adoption of an Ethiopian sibling group. We began blogging to document our adoption experience, connect with other adoptive families, and keep our friends and family updated on our lives. My second blog is a forum for addressing some of the more controversial issues surrounding the adoption process. I'll gladly welcome you and your insights to the table...

We are fellow parents who have adopted twins from Ethiopia. I've really enjoyed your posts so much. But as a mommy of twins - I understand where your energies must go. Hope you know how much of an inspiration you've been to us!
